In this year long class, we will immerse ourselves in the study of God's Creation in Botany! We will learn as we "grow" by studying about the anatomy of plants, pollination, and in starting plants from seed and watching them grow in our outdoor garden! We will also take nature walks to observe, explore, and appreciate all the goodness God has given us. We will be using Apologia's Exploring Creation with Botany. Can't wait for you to join us!

World History - Ancient Times

Utilizing The Story of the World Volume 1 by Susan Wise Bauer, students will learn about the earliest nomads through the last Roman empire. Each week we will tackle one or two chapters from the book and complete a variety of activities such as: creating a timeline, memorizing key events, dioramas, maps, and other craft projects. Students will practice narration both verbally and written. Students will be required to have read or been read to, the assigned chapters prior to each class.
